The long awaited WW1 Wings of Glory Airplane Packs are going to hit the stores in a few days: following their arrival at the Ares Games’ warehouse in the U.S. early this week, this new release for the World War 1 version of Wings of Glory are now shipping to North American distributors, and will be available in US and Canadian stores starting on August 6th. In Europe, they should be available in stores in the 2nd half of August.
These WW1 Airplane Packs present four fighters, each of them in three different versions: the Fokker E.III “Eindecker”, the Halberstadt D.III, the Morane-Saulnier Type N and the Airco DH.2. Designed to be used with the popular air combat game system created by Andrea Angiolino and Pier Giorgio Paglia, each pack features a ready-to-play model, painted and assembled, and includes a special base with gaming stats, a variable altitude flying stand, and a specific deck of maneuver cards.
To play with these Airplane Packs, it’s necessary to own a WW1 Wings of Glory rule set, such as the WW1 Wings of Glory Rules and Accessories Pack that will be released in August, and includes the complete rules and components required to play with these miniatures. The Airplane Packs are also 100% compatible with the former Wings of War game system.
