On December 11th we launched the pre-orders of the War of the Ring – The Two Decades Limited Edition products.

At launch, we indicated a maximum of 2500 copies of the War of the Ring base set (individual base set, or Trilogy) and a maximum of 1200 copies of the separate expansions – however, the final decision about how many copies to print was not announced until now.

After more than 60 days of preorders, we think we have enough data for an informed decision. We always wanted the quantity to be sufficient to make sure interested customers would not miss a narrow pre-order window; and at the same time, we wanted to make sure that the Two Decades edition is indeed “limited” as promised.

With the data at hand, we are ready to announce the production run of these limited-edition items. The stock availability on our website ks.aresgames.eu has already been updated accordingly.

WotR Two Decades Limited Edition - Trilogy Set.

“The Two Decades Trilogy Set” includes one each of the other three products, hence their individual quantities are 2200 (Core game), 1800 (Warriors) and 1700 (Kings & Lords) respectively. About 100 to 300 of each item are still available for pre-order as we write:
