Originally published as a colossal 18-player game (Mega Civilization), Mega Empires is a new edition that builds on that epic foundation, making the system accessible to player counts from 3 to 18 players, from shorter 3 hour scenarios to legendary day-long sessions. In Mega Empires: The West, 5 to 9 players lead civilizations from the Atlantic Ocean to the Middle East, while in Mega Empires: The East 3 to 9 players develop their civilizations from the Middle East to India.

The primary objective of the game is to accumulate the most victory points by trading commodities and strategically developing advances, symbolizing each civilization’s wealth and glory. A full game guarantees hours of enjoyment to players who love epic board games with a strong historical context.

In addition to the base games, the line includes items to increase the gameplay experience. The Special Buildings set is an expansion to both games which allows to construct a special building and receive benefits in play and additional Victory Points at the end of the game. The giant neoprene mats, Deluxe Game Mat - The West and Deluxe Game Mat - The East, offer an enlarged playing area and high-quality design for easier and more immersive gameplay.
