Designed by Nicolas Rident, it's aligned with the 'Roads' series, which features the titles "Liberty Roads" and "Victory Roads" (published by Hexasim).
In Stalingrad Roads, the Soviet player focuses on planning offensives, requiring delicate planning with potentially devastating effects. On the German side, the campaign revolves around supplying the Stalingrad pocket — a game within the game.
