The upcoming Witch-king Edition Card Box.

The War of the Ring section is updated with a new accessory coming in July 2022: the War of the Ring Card Box and Sleeves - Witch-king Edition. This new product in the Card Box series features the Witch-king of Angmar and the symbol of the Shadow Armies.

The War of the Ring Card Box and Sleeves is the perfect accessory for any fan of the game, a collector’s item perfect to contain all the game cards, protected and well-stored. It includes 120 custom 67 x 120 mm card protectors, in an exclusive sturdy full color tin box using fantastic artwork by John Howe.

The Witch-king Edition is the third box in the series - the first card box features Theoden, King of Rohan, and is embossed with the “War of the Ring” logo; the second box features Gandalf the Grey and the symbol of the Free Peoples. The Witch-king Card Box is due to release in July 2022, together with the reprint of the "Gandalf" box.

The Fate of Erebor mini-expansion.

This April, the War of the Ring line is in stores again with new arrivals and reprints.
The mini-expansion The Fate of Erebor is now shipping to distributors and will start to hit US stores from April, 13th. This mini-expansion creates an alternative scenario for the game, where the Battle of the Five Armies was lost by the Free Peoples, changing the course of history drastically. With a few, subtle changes, The Fate of Erebor “adapts” the game to this possible outcome, featuring a rule sheet, four board overlay tiles to place on the game board, and eight alternate cards.

Four important reprints are also shipping to distributors: the War of the Ring – Second Edition game and its expansions (Lords of Middle-earth and Warriors of Middle-earth), and The Battle of Five Armies game.

Last but not least, a new special accessory is in production now, to be released in June: the official War of the Ring Deluxe Game Mat, a beautiful game mat in high quality neoprene, almost 50% larger than the normal game board (128 x 88 cm) for easier gameplay, printed on high-quality, foldable material.
