The English edition of the tactical game of magical battles Black Rose Wars, set in the alternative Italian Renaissance world of Nova Aetas, is now shipping to distributors, and will start to hit the shelves of US stores on October 2nd - it will be available in other countries in the following weeks. The core game releases alongside four expansions: Hidden Thorns, and three Summonings miniature sets (Undead, Constructs and Demons).

In Black Rose Wars, players take the role of mages seeking to become the New Grand Master and acquire the mighty power of the Black Rose Artifact and the Forgotten Magic. Each mage has six schools of magic at their disposal, each one with its own strategy to annihilate their opponents and increase their power. The Black Rose Wars - Core Game features four mages (Jaf’ar, Tessa, Rebecca, Nero) and can be played by two to four players.
The core set releases alongside with four expansions: Hidden Thorns, which introduces two new mages (Marco e Geneve) and two new colors into the game, increasing the maximum number of players to six, or just extending the choice of characters.

Summonings is a series of three all-miniature expansions that introduce three kinds of summoned creatures: Undead allows players to lead their personal army of loyal skeleton warriors, Constructs gives a concrete form to Transmutation, Divination and Illusion magic, and Demons brings hellish creatures into play.
