The Sword & Sorcery Line section is updated with information and images of the first Season 2 releases, due to release in December 2020: the new S&S campaign, Ancient Chronicles Core Set, and the Accessory Packs Ancient Chronicles Ghost Souls Form Heroes, Chaotic Familiars and Lawful Familiars.
Ancient Chronicles is a new starting point to the game, suitable both for newcomers and for players who already plays the Immortal Souls cycle, allowing them to enter the world of Sword & Sorcery again, in a campaign set in the distant past of the events narrated in the first season. One to five players control heroes awakened from the dead and made immortal by the will of the Gods, to destroy the corrupted deities scattered across the starless, stone-ceiling realm of the Underreign, with its dangerous ruins, ominous caves, and exotic cities. This new season will bring the game system to the next level, with new features enhancing the storytelling and broadening the scope of the players’ adventures, ntroducing a greater variety of enemies, and more possibilities for the Heroes.
The Ancient Chronicles Ghost Soul Form Heroes features very detailed miniatures to replace the figures of the five heroes included in Ancient Chronicles when they die, plus two gameplay expansions enhance characters' back stories and customization. This set is also useful for those who like to paint their figures, using these miniatures to create alternate versions of the characters.
The other two packs, Chaotic Familiars and Lawful Familiars, introduce small fantasy creatures able to create a magical link with their humanoid friends and help them during their adventures. There are three different kinds of familiars: Domestic, Wild, and Legendary. Each pack features five Familiars: Lawful - Dog (Domestic), Boar, Horned Lizard, Owl (Wild), and Pixie (Legendary); and Chaotic - Cat, Crow (Domestic), Bat (Wild), Drakeling, and Imp (Legendary). The Familiars can be used with any Sword & Sorcery Quest or Campaign (Immortal Souls or Ancient Chronicles), by simply shuffling the Familiar cards into the Treasure deck.
