Waste Knights: Second Edition, a new narrative-rich boardgame by Galakta Games is in its final hours on Kickstarter: the project counts more than 3,300 backers and it's over 600% funded, with more than US$ 240,000 pledged and 18 stretch goals unlocked. The campaign ends on March 13th, at 11:59 PM CET.
Waste Knights: Second Edition is a post-apocalyptic game of survival and adventure set in a dystopian Australia half a century from now. It is a 1-4 player experience allowing you to play cooperatively, competitively or in solo mode depending on the adventure you choose. The game is inspired by cult movies and books of the genre enabling players to immerse themselves in a ruined world full of gangs, mutated creatures, sentient machines and – most of all – unforgettable stories.
The stretch goals unlocked has added a lot of extra content to the game, including four new player characters ("Knights" - represented by a miniature, a sheet and upgrade cards), the mini-expansion "Call of the Waste", the "Book of Tales", a new Adventure Plot, a big box, and several items like additional cards and dice. The campaign offers also an “all-in” pledge named “Veteran of the Waste", which includes the Core Box, all unlocked Stretch Goals, the KS exclusive "Lore Guide", as well as all expansions shown in the campaign: "Dogs of War", "Through the Waste", and "Remnants of Civilization." Each Backer choosing this all-in pledge will also get the "Outback Chronicles" (dedicated notebook), a unique, cosmetic add-on to make the game even more immersive.
