The hidden movement, deduction and adventure game Hunt for the Ring is now shipping to distributors and it will start to hit the US stores on January, 17th. In other countries, the game must be available in the following weeks.
Hunt for the Ring recreates the initial chapters of “The Lord of the Rings”. In the game, one player must bring Frodo Baggins - the Ringbearer - and his hobbit friends from their home in the Shire to the sanctuary of Rivendell, where the fate of the One Ring will be decided. Using secrecy and the help of powerful allies, the Ringbearer must escape the chase of the Nazgûl, which is controlled by up to four other players.
Created by Francesco Nepitello and Marco Maggi, from the design team of War of the Ring, together with Gabriele Mari (author of Letters from Whitechapel, Mister X, Garibaldi), Hunt for the Ring is suited for 2 to 5 players, and features amazing cover and character art by John Howe, seven highly–detail miniatures sculpted by Bob Naismith, and a beautiful game board by Francesco Mattioli.
Hunt for the Ring will also be available in several different languages. The Italian edition, by Devir Italia, will release at same time the English edition, while the Spanish (Devir Iberia), Portuguese (Devir Livraria) and German edition (Asmodée GmbH / Heidelberger Spieleverlag) are scheduled to release in March, and a French edition by Nuts! Publishing is due to release in the first half of 2018. Other translations will be announced soon.
