The countdown for Tripods & Triplanes has started: the Kickstarter project to fund the new "weird war" setting for Wing of Glory will launch one week from today, on November 28th, at 03:00 PM CET (02:00 PM UTC/GMT). The campaign will run until December 21st, 10:00 PM CET (9:00 PM UTC/GMT). The new stand-alone game, fully compatible with WW1 Wings of Glory, will merge the Martian invasion described by H.G. Wells in his novel "War of the Worlds" with the historical background of the Great War. See below how it plays in a 5-minutes video up on YouTube.

Ares also launched on Sunday, November 19th, a Tripods & Triplanes Gleam Contest. Until Sunday, November 26th, it's possible to enter for a chance to win one of five full packs, each including a Tripods & Triplanes Starter Set and 2 Additional Tripod Packs, with one Mk.I Tripod and Mk.II Tripod models, fully painted and assembled. In Wings of Glory - Tripods & Triplanes, the knights of the air battle will fight against colossal fighting machines sent by the Martians to invade Earth. Players will take control of an awesome Martian Tripod, set upon bringing death and destruction on our planet, or fly on the most advanced flying machines created by Mankind during World War One, and try to use them to win the War of the Worlds. The Tripods & Triplanes Starter Set will include a Tripod model and an airplane model with bases, maneuver and damage decks, and everything needed to play. The game system will also include additional packs with different aircraft to play, and accessories.
