The Master of the Galaxy Kickstarter campaign ended on August, 11th, with $50,502 pledged - 250%% funded, and 1207 backers. All funding goals, social goals, and backer goals were unlocked, improving the Deluxe Edition of the game with several components to make it truly special. Backers must receive the game in February 2018, and the retail edition will be released following.

The Kickstarter edition of Master of the Galaxy will come in a numbered, metal-foil stamped, embossed box and will include the expansion "Faster than Light". The goals unlocked along the campaign will add a unique hero card (Baron Duque), a unique species card (Wanderers), the exclusive conflict card "Information War", the additional government card "Deep State", a set of 3 Development Cards, a special set of additional political cards "Galaxy Defenders-Extinction Protocol", a Deluxe Supremacy Board, a set of two card holders, deluxe (silk-screen printing) cloth bags, solitaire rules and the digital booklet "Stories from the 6th Millennium." Backers will also receive one month of Gold Subscription to Tabletopia - with unlimited use of a library of more than 400 board games, to play digitally.
