The long awaited new edition of War of the Ring board game is going to be released in English by the end of the month, and Ares Games has good news also for the non-English speaking players. The game is going to be published in three more languages next year, in cooperation with international partners: Devir, in Spain, Heidelberger Spieleverlag, in Germany, and Red Glove, in Italy. The Spanish, German and Italian editions will be released in Spring 2012.

“War of the Ring is a game with fans all around the world that claim for local editions. We are very glad of announcing three partnerships that will allow to satisfy German-, Spanish- and Italian-speaking players. We are still talking with game publishers in other countries, so we hope that it will be possible to publish War of the Ring Second Edition in more languages”, Christoph Cianci, CEO of Ares Games, said.

Heidelberger, Red Glove and Devir will take care of the translation of the rulebook, cards and other game materials into their own languages, and will also handle the distribution of the local editions.
