Next Sunday, September 14th, the group Associazione Ludica Apuana (A.L.A.), together with the WASP - Wargame Spezia, will run the WW2 Wings of Glory event "Battle of Midway", in Massa (Northern Tuscany, Italy), with the presence of Andrea Angiolino, one of the game authors.
The event will recreate the battle of June 4th, 1942, using the WW2 Wings of Glory rules and a detailed scenario created by the player Roberto Bagna. The scenario encompasses all the battle's phases, starting from the attack to the Midway Islands, and followed by the fleet's interception and the attack to the aircraft carrier. Miniatures of all the aircrafts employed in the historical battle will be used, and the models not available in Wings of Glory will be prepared by the A.L.A.'s members and given to the participants as prizes.
The "Battle of Midway" event will be held at the Sporting Club “Le Pinete” (via S.Ginese 16 - Poveromo di Massa), from 9,30 am to 6 pm.
