Ares Games had a great start at Gen Con Indy 2014: the Sails of Glory Record Breaker Event, just after the convention opening, was very successful and the record of largest Sails of Glory game ever was set with 53 players taking part to the battle on a very long table. The game had a length of two hours, and all participants received a ship pack to enter the game and were awarded a "letter of commendation" for their service in the big battle.
In the Exhibit Hall, the Ares Games' booth was ready to receive the Gen Con attendees with demos of The Battle of Five Armies, pre-releasing at the event, WW1 and WW2 Wings of Glory, Sails of Glory, Galaxy Defenders and other games. Visitors had the chance to learn how to play The Battle of Five Armies with Roberto Di Meglio, one of the authors, and the same for Galaxy Defenders, which was demoed by Nunzio Surace, the Agent N.
