La Concorde 1777
La Concorde 1777 was a fifth-rate, 32-guns Concorde class French frigate built at Rochefort together with the Courageuse and the Hermione. Launched in 1777, in August 1778 she captured the British 32-guns frigate HMS Minerva. In February 1783, La Concorde was captured by the Royal Navy and renamed HMS Concorde. This ship pack can also be used to represent the French frigate “Junon 1778”.
Fougueux 1785
The Fougueux was a third-rate, Téméraire class 74-gun French ship-of-the-line built in Lorient from 1784 to 1785. She took part in the Expédition d'Irlande in 1796. In 1805, the Fougueux fired the first shot of the Battle of Trafalgar against HMS Royal Sovereign, and later attempted to come to the aid of the Redoutable by engaging HMS Temeraire, being captured. This ship pack can also be used to represent the French ship-of-the-line “Redoutable 1791”.
HMS Juno 1780
The HMS Juno was a Royal Navy 32-gun Amazon-class fifth rate, which served during the American War of Independence, and the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. This ship pack can also be used to represent the British frigate “HMS Castor 1785”.
HMS Bellerophon 1786
The HMS Bellerophon 1786 was a 74-gun third-rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy. She served during the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. She fought in three fleet actions, the Glorious First of June, the Battle of the Nile and the Battle of Trafalgar, and was the ship aboard which Napoleon finally surrendered, ending nearly 22 years of war with France. This ship pack can also be used to represent the British ship-of-the-line “HMS Defiance 1783”.
